Last night at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park we were delighted to attend a half-day development forum on 'Authentic Leadership in a Global Context' run by AGSM @ UNSW Business School and moderated by our very own Seán Bryceland!

We were proud to have members of our organisation actively participate and attend, including our CEO and Managing Director Simon Crowther, People & Culture Manager Indianna Adams, and Strategy & Operations Associate Harjot Mand. Their involvement reflects our commitment to supporting and bringing our core values to life by engaging in meaningful discussions and driving positive impact. 
 
Here are our top 6 takeaways from the great session last night:

👉 Acknowledging and taking time to reflect on your own life and leadership journey, to understand and focus on what it is that you really value.
 
👉 Building your emotional intelligence unlocks empathy to help understand others and to be understood.
 
 👉 The world is ever more complex, but we should not shy away from engaging in it.
 
👉 We all have opportunities to lead whether that's in our roles or our communities. As the global landscape shifts, just showing up for other's who need your support can be that first step.
 
👉 Diversity is found everywhere in nature, it only creates stronger and more resilient ecosystems.
